Discover over 200 original cars from 80 different brands that tell the historical evolution of the invention that changed the world.
From the steam carriages of the late nineteenth century to the design masterpieces of the 1950s, and from the protagonists of epic races and memorable journeys to the prototypes that have guided the future directions of research.

Inclusive Museum
Our mission is to make the Automobile Museum a welcoming and inclusive place for everyone, aming to engage with children, young people, adults and the elderly and considering the different motor, sensory and cognitive needs.
Touch panels with maps, embossed designs with braille texts and resin models made with an exclusion technique and details made with a 3D printer: each model is accompanied by audio descriptions, which can be activated through embossed Qr-Code and NFC technology, which tell the story of the car and provide curiosities and information in Italian and English.
The MAUTO exhibition itinerary is free of architectural barriers and is therefore fully accessible.
The MAUTO has services such as a changing table and high chair to allow parents to take care of the needs of their little visitors in a practical and hygienic way. These services show MAUTO’s commitment to making visiting the museum an inclusive experience for all families.
Audioguides in LIS, Italian Sign Language, and IS International Sign Language
A free wheelchair is available at checkouts for visitors with walking difficulties.
Parking spaces reserved for disabled people are available in the area surrounding the Museum.
We recommend that visitors to the Museum with a wheelchair utilise the ramp in Via Richelmy, which leads to the cafeteria.
