The model shown here of Fiat 520 has, contrary to the usual production, the right-hand drive, as registered in Montevideo (Uruguay). It is a classic torpedo version, the most built body type for the 520. When the sales of the torpedo version began to decline due to the growing popularity of closed cars, had a certain success the transformation of the torpedo in internal driving through the application of a “ballon démontable” built according to the system “semi-rigid” and carefully covered in pegamoid. At the time of its launch, the sedan cost 31,000 lire.
