FIAL (Fabbrica Italiana Automobili Legnano) was founded in 1906. The “Type A” project has interesting characteristics, a competitive price (4000 Italian lire of the time) and the typical circular radiator. But the period of voiturettes is already coming to an end and the vehicle that would later be christened as the 6/8 HP was the only model ever produced as Fial was forced to close down. The youthful duc displayed here was purchased in 1939 in Rapallo, by Sebastino Quaglia, and is part of a small batch of three vehicles and one engine.
The car exhibited at the MAUTO is the only one of its kind still existing.
