GEORGES RICHARD MOD. 3 E 1/2HP

Etablissements Georges Richard was founded in1896 and mounted the Benz engine on its first vehicles. For the 3 1/2HP, however, it decided to use one of its own make, a single-cylinder with an unusual 1:1 bore the stroke ratio (100×100 mm). The three-speed gearbox integral with the differential was another innovation. In 1901, Georges Richard teamed with Henri Brasier to form Richard-Brasier.
