A new and spectacular set developed with models and drawings that reflect one of the most famous views of New York: the Brooklyn bridge and the skyscrapers that with their lights are reflected in the river.
Next to the suggestive scenery, the real protagonists: the 1937 Packard “Super – Eight” and the 1947 Cadillac “62”. Two cars completely restored by Nicola Bulgari’s Restoration Team.
In the US this is the period of the so-called Forward Look, car fins, chromium plating and colossal sizes. In Europe there is a shift from motorcycles to “microcars”: Isetta, Messerschmitt and Berkeley challenge Chrysler and Cadillac.
Also on display there are 57 original models representing the most iconic American cars produced between 1934 and 1967 – donated by Nicola Bulgari – and also four spectacular grilles of US-made cars bolted on a background with stars and stripes like the American Flag.
