The Automobile. Two Centuries of History

The Museo Nazionale dell’Automobile is a leading centre for automotive culture: a place for debate and experimentation that builds on the value of its heritage to produce original content capable of engaging with the languages of the present.
The new catalogue conveys the richness of the Museum through masterpieces from the collection, technical profiles, archival documents, artistic commissions, research projects and an extensive selection of images that highlights the sculptural power of the automobile. The volume also features contributions from the curators, who reinterpret the Museum’s heritage from interdisciplinary and contemporary perspectives.

The Museum’s café is the ideal place to enjoy a break with a view of the park. Whether indoors or on the outdoor terrace, you can stop for breakfast, lunch or simply a moment of relaxation. Upon request, the MAUTO Café also hosts dinners, aperitifs and special events.
