The only existing Florentia 10 HP in the world was purchased by the Museum in 1967 from baron Giorgio Franchetti, a renowned Roman patron of the arts and a pioneering car collector in Italy. Founded in Florence in 1903, the activity of Florentia came to an end ten years later, after having built some small size vehicles designed in-house and later models produced on license for the French manufacturer Rochet Schneider.
