This car was the star of the Paris Motor Show in 1919, with the launch of a model that was to mark an era: luxurious, refined, and aristocratic, the type 8 was to become one of the status symbols of the 1920s as well as a great market success, with more than 1,600 vehicles built until 1932. With a sophisticated torpedo bodywork, created by Milanese coachbuilder Castagna, it was donated to the Museum in 1934 by Isotta Fraschini herself.
