For the first time in history, a Fiat could be purchased in installments through the Sava, and this meant success for this runabout from the second half of the 1920s. The model on display was donated by Emilio Rugiadini in 1956, thanks to the prompt mediation of the Direzione Stampa e Propaganda Fiat (Fiat Press and Propaganda Office), and especially to “tota Robiola”, alias Maria Rubiolo, one of the pillars of the office until the 1970s. At the time, this car had already run 200,000 km with its refined, light, silent and expensive Weymann bodywork, with a wood chassis and imitation leather flexible upholstery.
