Vittorio Jano’s “debut car” at Alfa Romeo after the World Champion GP Type P2. It is a slim, light, modern, extremely sophisticated car and forerunner of a new generation of automobiles. It was first presented in 1925, but due to the company’s many difficulties, it had to wait until 1928 to be marketed. Then, it was an immediate triumph at the Mille Miglia, with Campari and Ramponi at the wheel in a Mille Miglia Special version. Just like the one displayed here, which Alfa Romeo donated to the Museum in 1957.
