From the Carrera Panamericana to the Mille Miglia, from the Targa Florio to the Oporto Grand Prix: Fangio, Taruffi, Ascari, Castellotti and Villoresi will make the sportscar designed by Vittorio Jano a star performer of its time. Donated by Lancia in April 1959 together with four more cars, it has had a great racing career with frequent engine changes and various chassis numbers, as was often the case in those years. Now, the competition numbers of the Carrera Panamericana (where it was driven by Fangio) and that of the Mille Miglia are proudly displayed on its sides.
