It was conceived to satisfy the desire of a South America customer, who wanted a one-off car with a Vignale body. Yet the project also proved to have a future, and the powerful granturismo went into production and appeared on the pricelists of the Trident in 1966. Its production was discontinued only seven years later, with a total of 2,510 vehicles sold. Powerful and sophisticated, it is an elegant granturismo more than a sports car.
