Buick was born in 1903, but already five years later, it became part of the General Motors galaxy. After the great crisis of 1929, the mother company invested largely in the brand: it renewed its mechanics and gave Harley Earl’s Art & Color Section – a forerunner of the modern style centers – the task of refreshing its image. It belonged to Francesco Mirabile, a diplomat from Florence, great car enthusiast from overseas, and among the fathers of the majestic Brussels Autoworld.
