Venetian-born Antonio Chiribiri founded this company in Turin in 1910, initially for aircraft production. He started producing light and agile cars in 1914 and obtained excellent results in races, where they competed with much more illustrious cars. It was on board a Chiribiri that a young and promising Mantuan driver started his career: a certain Tazio Nuvolari.
Despite the racing victories, the good sales results, the records, and the arrival of new capital, the company did not succeed in overcoming the 1927 industrial crisis, and in 1928 the plant was acquired by Lancia.
