Elegant and imposing, the straight-six Alfa Romeo 2600 was presented at the Geneva Show in 1962 as a first-class comfort car. Its engine, a development of the 2000, delivered 130 bhp at 5900 rpm and gave a top speed of 175 km/h. A total of 2255 Spiders with bodywork by the Touring Co. were placed on the market between 1962 and 1965.
