The Aquila Italiana will live an ephemeral adventure, lasting only from 1905 to 1917, although it had great success also thanks to the excellent design of Giulio Cesare Cappa (top intake valves, hydraulic shock absorbers): in this case, he had even been awarded an important prize for having delivered the projects “on time”. This model was donated to the Museum in 1935 by Spagnoletti Zeuli, who had driven it in the Targa Florio and in the 1914 Parma-Poggio di Berceto race, the latter alongside Giovanni Marsaglia and Meo Costantini.
