With 575,000 vehicles built, the runabout designed by Lord Herbert Austin was certainly one of the most popular vehicles between the ‘20s and ‘30s. Its reasonable price and reduced consumption – it seems that it could run more than 20 km on one liter of gas – were among the reasons for its success. This particular vehicle, built in 1932, was donated by Gianfranco Moncalvi, from Pavia, in 1956.
