Its “all front” mechanics reserve a place of honor for this vehicle in car design history. It also featured other novelties, such as the unibody, the independent suspensions, and the constant velocity joints on the front drive shafts. However, what makes it unique is especially Flaminio Bertoni’s design, a father of many legendary models of this brand, who in 1961 donated this vehicle to the Museum. It was produced as long as up to 1957, and known by everyone as the “Traction Avant”.
