A milestone in American motorsports: built by Keith Black for Roland Leong, it was the star of the NHRA (National Hot Rod Association). It won the Winter Nationals and the 1965 U.S. Nationals with Don “the Snake” Prudhomme at the wheel, while Mike Snively asserted himself at the Winter Nationals the following year. This car has an overcharged V8 Chrysler Marine King Kong engine with a GMC 6-71 helical-lobe compressor. It goes from zero to 320 km/h in a quarter of a mile. It came to Italy for the 14th Triennale exhibition in Milan and was donated to the Museum by Fiat in 1969.
