One of Ferrari-Pininfarina’s best interpretations of the super sports car coupé during the Eighties, the four-seater Ferrari Mondial was presented at the beginning of the decade. Its performance figures, such as the standing 400 metres in 15 seconds, were in keeping with the Ferrari tradition. During the summer of 1982, the introduction of a 32-valve (four per cylinder) engine gave the model its new denomination. About 1150 cars with this engine built up to 1985.
