Two thousand vehicles produced make it a big market success. The type of construction and the price make it the progenitor of Fiat economy cars. It also boasts a bodywork conceived in Stabilimenti Farina, which was collaborating with a very young Giovanni Battista “Pinin” Farina. As is often the case, this vehicle was equipped with van-style bodywork and this is how it was sold to the Museum in 1934 by Turin-born Antonio Monticone, a “merchant in different metals and materials”. The following year, Fiat brought it back to its original condition.
