August Hurtu was initially a manufacturer of typewriters, sewing machines and bicycles. His firm’s first vehicles were powered by Benz and then De Dion engines before it began to make its own. This vehicle with its back-to-back coachwork has a Benz single flat-cylinder version. The company went out of business at the end of the Twenties.
