“Red Devil” Camille Jenatzy built this vehicle to break the legendary record of 100 km/h. And in fact he succeeded, on April 29th 1899, just outside Paris with an aerodynamic bodywork that was still full of naiveties (both the chassis and the pilot are exposed to the wind!). But above all it had electric engines and a battery, which in the day were still giving the internal combustion engine a hard time in terms of performances and drivability. The record lasts three years, then everything changes. Not only in record-breaking.
