Prinetti & Stucchi began by making self-propelled three-and four-wheelers. This 4 HP was designed by Boldrini, and the renowned Ettore Bugatti, then still in his teens, had a hand in its costruction. It was he, too, who won the 1899 Brescia-Verona-Brescia race in a Prinetti & Stucchi at an average speed of nearly 40 km/h. The most unusual feature of the 4 HP is its coupled pair of front-mounted engines.
