Aquila Italiana 25/30 HP

1912

Aquila Italiana was founded in Turin in 1905 by Marquis Giulio Pallavicino, together with a young engineer who would achieve great fame in the automotive field, Giulio Cesare Cappa. Despite Pallavicino’s premature death, Aquila went down in history thanks to Cappa’s ingenious innovations: aluminium pistons, monobloc engine, ‘baty-carter’ crankcase and, from 1915, electric starter and lighting system. The 25/30 HP racing model is distinguished by its compact engine with mixed distribution: overhead intake and side exhaust valves.
