Ford Model T

1916

The Ford Model T is one of the most famous cars in history. With 15 million units produced between 1908 and 1927, it is considered the masterpiece of Hen- ry Ford, who wanted a simple, inexpensive car that could be mass-produced and sold at a low price. And in the famous words of Henry Ford: “Any customer can have a car painted any colour that he wants, so long as it is black”.  Around the Model T, the modern assembly line and a new way of organizing industry was born in the United States, aiming to sell the product to its own workers, while in Europe, during the same period, the car was still a ‘toy’ for the lucky few
