Prinetti & Stucchi 4 HP

1899

Prinetti & Stucchi is an old Italian company founded in Milan in 1874 for the manufacture of sewing machines and bicycles. From 1898 onwards, Prinetti & Stucchi also produced tricycles, four-wheelers, and small cars. The first model was designed by a very young (barely seventeen) Ettore Bugatti, a talented technician destined for great fame, who mounted a De Dion engine (or rather, two coupled, with a power of 3 HP) on a pedal tricycle manufactured by the company. He was also responsible for the next design, a four-wheeler with two De Dion engines fitted to the rear wheels
