Designed by engineer Giulio Cesare Cappa, the Itala 11 was created as a single-seater racing car for the 1925 Monza Grand Prix for Vetturette. It was intended to relaunch the company’s racing ambition, but economic difficulties prevented production—the car remained a prototype and never competed.
The example on display still bears on its body the marks left by bombing during World War II, a testament to its long and eventful history.
