Maserati Mexico

1968

The 1960s marked a decline for the Trident brand in terms of sporting achievements, especially on the international stage . The prototype of the Maserati Mexico, fitted out for a South American client by the Turin-based coachbuilder Vignale as a 2+2 seater sports saloon, appeared at the 1965 Turin Motor Show. The final four-seater version was presented at the Paris Motor Show the following year with a 4.7-litre engine that was joined from 1969 by the smaller 402 with the same fittings. Built until 1973, only 250 units of the Maserati Mexico were produced
