In 1891, Peugeot produced the ‘Type 3’, of which 64 were built; among them, the model on display, with chassis no. 25 and engine no. 124 from the German Daimler factory, representing a milestone in the history of motoring in Italy: it was the first car to circulate in the country. It was ordered on 30 August 1892 by Gaetano Rossi, sold to Guido Lazzari and brought by Carlo Biscaretti di Ruffia. The Peugeot participated in the London to Brighton Veteran Car Run in 2017, 2018 and 2019
