Buick 41 C Special

1936

The 41 C Special is a model with a design that is still majestic, but modern and well balanced throughout. The length of the bonnet is accentuated by the grille divided into two parts; the front end is enhanced by the elongated shape of the two headlights mount- ed on either side of the nose and the two tail lights at the tips of the large mudguards. The doors open like a cupboard, but the body has a central pillar. The window area is modest in relation to the car’s volume, while the V-shaped windscreen contributes to the body line. The built-in boot is one of the earliest examples of a three-box design.
