Fiat Tipo Zero A

1913

Considered to be Fiat’s first small car, it was a vehicle that certainly was not affordable for the middle class. It featured a large displacement and elaborate bodywork thanks to the prototype design at Stabilimento Farina, among the most prominent centres of Turin’s automotive style. Featuring a very simple, robust, and reliable mechanical structure, the fan mounted behind the radiator – and driven by a belt transmission – appears for the first time in this model.
