Ford Jeep

1941

Robust and tireless, the Jeep was used in a wide variety of applications: as a means of exploration, an infantry attack vehicle, an amphibian vehicle, a rescue vehicle, etc., until it became synonymous with the four-wheel drive off-road vehicle. By the end of the war, 737,770 examples had been produced, of which 459,874 by Willys and 277,896 by Ford.
